Helping our students discover the right path!

We provide a comprehensive curriculum which combines a rich academic programme with co-curricular activities such as Performing Arts (Music, Drama and Theatre), Visual Arts, Physical Education and Technology Programmes to equip your child with skills to lead the world in every field.

Early Years (Little GEMS)

The Early Years Programme consists of grades Pre-K, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2. The Little GEMS curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS), a UK based curriculum framework which focuses on overall skills development in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor areas. It draws upon research by education pioneers such as Reggio Emilia, Maria Montessori and Lev Vygotsky.

(You can find out more by visiting the Little GEMS website)

The following activities are designed to take into account key learning areas for early childhood development:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional development
  • Communication and Language
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Expressive Arts and Design
  • Physical Development
  • Understanding the World

Young learners are encouraged to explore, enquire and take risks in an interactive environment which includes the use of smart boards, digital devices and dedicated indoor and outdoor learning zones. We have a caring team of well-trained Early Years Educators who monitor the progress of learners through observational assessment and document it using E-Portfolios.

Junior School Years (Grades I – V)

The curriculum continues with the skills-based thematic approach to ensure a smooth transition from Early Years to Junior School Years. The students experience the joy of learning, gain a deep understanding of important concepts and skills. They are guided by motivated, well-trained and nurturing facilitators.

At this stage, the teaching and learning process is interactive and integration of subjects is carried out in such a manner that it helps the learners to move from the unknown to the known.

Senior School Years (Grades VI – X)

Once the learner reaches this level, the learning becomes more formal and focused. The key learning areas diversify as per the CBSE scheme of subjects. We also offer a choice between French and Hindi as Second Language in Grade IX. The integration of technology in the teaching learning process is a key aspect of learning at GEMS school across the globe.
